For Contributors

Author Guidelines

As part of the conference paper submission process, authors are required to check their submission’s compliance with all of the following items. Submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these regulations.

All submissions will be assessed by an editor to determine whether they meet the aims and scope of this conference. Those considered to be a good fit will be sent for peer review before determining whether they will be accepted or rejected.

Before making a submission, authors are responsible for obtaining permission to publish any material included with the submission, such as photos, documents and datasets. All authors identified on the submission must consent to be identified as an author. Where appropriate, research should be approved by an appropriate ethics committee in accordance with the legal requirements of the study’s country.

An editor may desk reject a submission if it does not meet minimum standards of quality. Before submitting, please ensure that the study design and research argument are structured and articulated properly. The title should be concise and the abstract should be able to stand on its own. This will increase the likelihood of reviewers agreeing to review the paper.

Quality Assurance

Peer Review Process

Peer review is the process by which journals scrutinize and regulate the quality of content they publish, by inviting experts in the field to review and comment on manuscripts received. ICSciEnTec follows a double-blind peer review process for the assessment of every article.

1
Initial Screening
Manuscripts submitted to the journal first go through an initial screening by the editorial team.
2
Expert Review
Those that clear the screening are sent to at least two experts for peer review.
3
Recommendation
Peer reviewers independently recommend to the editor whether the manuscript should be rejected or accepted (with or without revisions).
4
Final Decision
The journal editor considers all feedback from peer reviewers and makes an informed decision to accept or reject the manuscript.

Long-Term Preservation

Archival Policy

Self-Archiving & Institutional Deposit
