Construction Development Corporation Ltd.

A DHI Company

Construction Development Corporation Limited (CDCL) was the mechanical Division of the Department of Roads under the Ministry of works and Human Settlement (MoWHS). On July 1, 2006, it was delinked from the Ministry to function as self-sustaining commercial unit. In Dec 2009, CDCL was Incorporated under the Companies Act of the Kingdom of Bhutan, leading to it becoming a full-fledged state-owned enterprise. Subsequently in 2015, CDCL joined the many companies under Druk Holding and Investments (DHI), Government’s Investment arm. Construction Development Corporation Limited (CDCL) has evolved within short span from being a miniscule division under the Ministry to a well-established public sector construction company with strong credentials in construction of roads, bridges and buildings. As the state-own contractor, CDCL conducts itself within the core values of Excellence, Leadership, Integrity, Teamwork, Entrepreneurship and Safety (ELITES), which is dear to all its employees. With the evolving time, CDCL has to drive the construction industry in taking it to the next level.
