Introduction
These Author Guidelines provide detailed instructions for preparing and submitting manuscripts to JournalStack journals.
Authors must ensure their submission meets all formatting, ethical, and structural requirements.
Manuscript Preparation
- Manuscripts must be written in clear, scholarly English.
- Use Microsoft Word (DOCX) format.
- A4 page size with 1-inch (2.54 cm) margins.
- Font: Times New Roman, 12 pt, line spacing 1.5.
- Use consistent section headings (e.g., Heading 1, Heading 2).
- Number all pages consecutively.
Manuscript Structure
All manuscripts must include the following sections:
- Title Page (Title, Authors, Affiliations, ORCID, Corresponding Author email).
- Abstract (150–250 words, structured or unstructured).
- Keywords (4–7 keywords).
- Introduction.
- Materials and Methods / Methodology.
- Results.
- Discussion.
- Conclusion.
- Acknowledgments (if applicable).
- Conflict of Interest Declaration.
- References.
Title Page Requirements
The title page must include:
- Full manuscript title.
- Authors’ names and institutional affiliations.
- ORCID iD (recommended).
- Contact email of the corresponding author.
- Funding sources (if applicable).
Abstract & Keywords
- Abstract must clearly summarize objectives, methods, results, and conclusions.
- Avoid citations in the abstract.
- Provide 4–7 relevant keywords.
Figures, Tables & Illustrations
- Figures must be high resolution (minimum 300 dpi).
- Accepted formats: PNG, JPG, TIFF.
- Number figures and tables sequentially (Figure 1, Table 1, etc.).
- Captions: below figures and above tables.
- If images contain sensitive data, ensure anonymization.
Referencing Style
- Authors may use APA, IEEE, or Vancouver style depending on journal category.
- References must be complete and accurate.
- Include DOI links whenever available.
- All in-text citations must appear in the reference list.
Ethical Responsibilities
- The work must be original and not submitted elsewhere.
- Proper citation of previous work.
- Ethical approval for studies involving humans or animals.
- Disclosure of conflicts of interest.
- Plagiarism must be below 10% excluding references.
Submission Process
- Submit manuscripts via the OJS online submission system.
- Authors must register as users before submission.
- Each submission is assigned to an Editor for initial evaluation.
- Suitable manuscripts proceed to double-blind peer review.
- Decision outcomes: Accept / Minor Revision / Major Revision / Reject.
Article Processing Charges (APC)
- APC amounts vary based on the journal category.
- Waivers available for authors from low-income countries.
- No fee for submission or review.
After Acceptance
- Authors may need to submit source files and high-resolution figures.
- Final proofs will be shared for author approval.
- Articles will be published online after completion of production.
